International balloon fiesta Košice 2011

Good news for you! The balloon fiesta will be held in Kosice this year an 18th times again. Balloons will start from the Central park and the Shopping centre Optima.

We have succeeded to stack the patchwork of countries whose representatives come to our fiesta. In this moment we have confirmed the turnout of 17 balloon teams from Slovakia, Czech republic, Hungary, Slovenia, Romania, Belgium, France, Thailand. We are delighted with the interest of pilots and their teams with the flying in Kosice and surroundings, and we frankly believe that the weather will afford us to meet the mission of the fiesta – to impresses by the view of the city full of balloons and to offer to balloon-teams and passengers pleasant experience.

The traditional accompanying program in the area of Shopping centre Optima will be varied again. The Carpathian foundation will open The Colourful Townlet of Nonprofit Organizations On Friday 10th of June 2011 with an interesting offer for children and adults. The Colourful Townlet will take place in the Optima shopping mall - new part.

The program begins at 17:00 at the stage in front of the Shopping centre Optima and offers different kinds of dance, music and entertaining performances for children and adults. Komajota promises a good fun but also Siempre with the superstar Lukas Adamec. The program will highlight by traditional fire show, Night Glow and fireworks. We have also one huge surprise for you this year - come and see :-)
